MEMBERSHIP
CASIS Ottawa Student Chapter (CASIS-OSC) operates as a regional student chapter of CASIS, incorporating Carleton University, the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College.
Students from all three schools are welcome to join as CASIS-OSC Members and apply for vacant positions on the CASIS Ottawa Student Chapter Executive. Membership is open to all students, in every program, at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.
Your CASIS-OSC Membership provides you with access to exclusive networking and professional development events with CASIS board members across Canada and industry leaders and experts. You’ll be able to participate in seminars, workshops, career fairs, tours, projects, competitions and many other fun experiences and opportunities!
Membership for CASIS Ottawa Student Chapter is $15* annually — this membership fee goes directly back to you and helps fund:
- CASIS-OSC events and projects throughout the year
- Honorariums for guests and organizations
- Merch and club goodies
- Snacks and virtual meal vouchers
- More exclusive opportunities!
*CASIS-OSC is committed to welcoming and providing opportunities to all students who are interested. If your financial situation makes it difficult to pay the membership fee, please specify on the Membership Form. We will accommodate various student needs to ensure everyone is able to participate in, and benefit from CASIS-OSC’ opportunities, regardless of their situation.
